Friends of Verwood First created an exciting Activity Trail for the children to take part in around school.  Spring themed posters were put up around the field and woodland area, children were given worksheets to complete, which had something for all ages from counting various spring pictures, whilst learning facts about springtime nature and older children got a chance to do some decoding to obtain their answers.  The children also had a colouring competition they could participate in, categories included most creative, funniest and most reflective.  All children received some sweet treats for taking part with our competition winners receiving a slightly bigger treat.  Lots of fun was had by all.
